Honesty in advertisements
In this image, the part of the hamburger on the right is the one that appears on McDonalds advertisements. However, the one on the left is the one that's actually served to you on real life. Restaurants in general do this because the real meal may not look that delicious on person, so their solution is to modify almost everything when they are making the add.
If we are focusing on marketing, this is a great idea for costumers to buy your products. But if we want to focus on honesty, this is brutal as they are lying to our faces and serving us food that looks kinda nasty. I do not think they will ever change this type of adds, it wouldn't be financially beneficial for the companies to show food as it is on the left side, I guess that the only solution to this honesty problem can be to just tell the companies that we are not buying more of their products until they fix their adds and show us the real food on them, but again, I don't think this will ever happen.
